Missy Elliot aka Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott, birth name Melissa Arnette Elliott, an American actress, rap singer and songwriter, was born to Ronnie and Patricia on 1st July 1971, in Portsmouth, Virginia. At the age of eight when children play with toys, Missy’s cousin raped her. In the early 90s she formed her own group R&B and called it Fayze, which was later on renamed as Sista.
